Mamavation Monday 4

What a week! It has most definitely had its ups and its downs for sure. I think I will do this entry in two separate groups.

The Good: I have lost 3.8 lbs total – 2 of those pounds I lost this past week doing the #2weekchallenge. That simply feels AMAZING!

Also, my jeans which are a size 18 aren’t feeling so tight that it hurts anymore! They aren’t as loose as they were back in November, but it is a start!

The Bad: 3 days out of the week I overate a little and one of those days I had fast food. I know I can indulge every so often, but, 3 days in a week is unacceptable. I guess the stress of kiddo going to school plus planning his first big birthday party finally got to me. I’m disappointed in myself. I think I really need more accountability because that is when I do best. So from now on when I screw up, you guys will be hearing about it on twitter. I know then I have to be held accountable for my overeating.

The Promise: Today I am getting back on track and will be more strict with my calories. I also think a goal this week will be to find healthy ways to make my favorite indulgent foods as well.

Question: When was the last time you got new workout shoes?  What do you use them for?

The last time I got new workout shoes were back in June or July 2010. It was the most money I ever spent on sneakers, LOL! I used them for working out at the gym and doing couch to 5k – which I am starting back up again soon!

    I would recommend getting use to putting it all out there because you really do as mamavation mom. It’s good to see you have a plan because that is how you will succeed.

    We used to eat out all the time, but the saving money for a tv for my workout area has stopped me from considering out an option.

      That’s a great way to stop considering eating out! I may have to steal that idea and find something special to save for. Eating out has ALWAYS been my weakness.

    Yay for your jeans fitting better!! That is better than a number on the scale.

    Also – don’t beat yourself up about the eating out. Today is a new day. 🙂 I am promising myself no more fast food either. It’s hard with football practices running until late at night. Time to use the crockpot more. 🙂

      It totally is! They are still tight but they aren’t so bad that I feel like I’m going to bust out of them!

    We all have our weeks when we need a little reminder. Move forward and focus on the fact that you are finishing out the 2 week challenge! I did find this blog last week that is healthy desert blog, if that helps. Haven’t taken a good look yet so not sure how “healthy” they are, but they sure look delicious.
